Billi Tap not dispensing water?

Firstly, enquire whether the water supply to your building has been interrupted at all, often it could be down to localised water pressure and one of the main reasons for a Billi Tap not dispensing water.

Next, try checking that the water supply to the Billi under counter unit is turned on. Sometimes this could be isolated by a member of staff by mistake and would prevent the cold water supply reaching the tap.

Also, check that the power is turned on, and see if there are any error messages shown on the display screen.

If you do have an error message showing on your Billi tap, it may be best to speak to one of our service team on 01905 337187

      You can buy Billi CO2 canister replacements directly from us here at Wellbeing Group. Click here to purchase the correct replacement for your sparkling Billi Tap. On average a Billi CO2 canister will have the capacity to last between 250-350 cups (160 Litres), deending on your carbonation levels.

      How to fit Billi CO2 canister replacements for sparkling water taps?

      Changing the CO2 Canister on your Billi Tap is super simple. Follow these easy steps and the sparkling water will be flowing again:

      1. Remove the old canister by simply unscrewing from the regulator. 

      2. The old canister can be disposed of in the normal waste.

      3. Take the new canister and remove the red packaging cap.

      4. Fully insert the new canister until tight. Please note- There will be a short release of gas as you tighten it up.

      5. Check the pressure on the gauge – It should be set to 2.5-3 bar

      How often do Billi Tap water filters need replacing?

      Your Billi Tap will require a new filter every 12 months, (or after 30,000 thousand litres) an orange flashing light will appear on your Billi Tap indicating that a filter change is due. You can either purchase these diretly from us to replace yourself, alternatively you can save money and hassle with our service plans and one of our engineers will come out to replace this for you.

You could have bought your Billi Tap from anyone but we will still happily resolve your issue for you, our service standards are industry leading and we promise a rapid response to your issues.

              There are two options – You can pay for a call-out each time for us service your Billi Tap and any additional labour or parts required to repair the system. Alternatively you can sign up to our annual service plans which are designed to save you time and money and provide peace of mind for ongoing bi-annual servicing of your Billi Tap including filter changes.                   Due to the sophisticated technology, Billi under-counter system do not require any additional ventilation where it is placed, so no cutting of the cabinet doors for ventilation, meaning it won’t interfere with your kitchen design. Meaning all you have to consider is the space required for the unit iteself.

                  Space Consideration 

                  There are only two different sized Billi undercounter units, across three different product types, so the size will differ slightly depending on whether you opt for a Billi Sahara, Billi Alpine or a Billi Quadra system. The most important thing to consider is if you have a minium undercounter space of W600 x H500mm availble for our engineers to be able to install a Billi Tap systme for you.

                      Billi Taps are 95% efficient at turning electricity into boiling water, making it much cheaper to run than boiling a kettle. Billi taps also create no water waste and the water being dispensed in filtered every time for a cleaner taste and more hygienic water.

                      As a well as being quick and convenient, boiling water taps are a greener option as well. Sustainability is becoming increasingly important to businesses so by opting for a tap over a kettle, you’ll be saving energy and also saving yourself money in the long run. Many people are prone to overfilling kettles and they waste water and energy in the process. With a boiling water tap, it makes it simple to pour exactly how much water you like, which reduces waste. They’re more energy-efficient than a kettle and the average daily running cost is around 9p.

                      Heat Exchange Technology

                      Billi Taps provide water that is filtered to give a pure odourless, sediment-free taste. They work by harnessing thermodynamic heat-exchange technology to recover waste heat energy ready to be reused to preheat the water entering the hot water tank. They come equipped with a Time Clock, Sleep Mode and Eco Mode so you can make huge savings on your energy bills! This technology allows for peak periods of high demand in the office environment.

                      It harvests waste heat energy that is created as a result of cooling water and using it to heat water ready for use. This means you can make your hot drinks faster rather than waiting for the water to heat from chilled. They can produce an impressive 90-250 cups of boiling water per hour meaning your workforce can remain hydrated without any interruptions. In comparison to using a kettle, a Billi tap uses only 898 W/per hour whereas a kettle uses up to 3500 W/per hour. They are also very sustainable and eco-friendly emitting only 0.74 KG CO emissions in comparison to kettles which produce up to 2.87 KG. Billi taps are also cheaper to run and cost on average 0.11 pence a day rather than 0.42 pence a day.
