What types of water can Zip Taps dispense?

Zip Taps

Zip Tap systems can dispense filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water all from one tap, alongside hot and cold water mixer taps for a complete water dispense solution.

We have systems that can deliver one water type (such as filtered boiling or filtered chilled) through to all five water types from a single tap and under-counter unit.

The versatility of a Zip Tap

Zip Taps are practical and versatile, offering instant boiling, chilled and sparkling water, removing the need to stand around waiting for the office kettle to boil. They produce high volumes of water during periods of high demand, reducing waiting times and improve efficiency amongst staff in the office. This also means you can save money on purchasing other appliances, since a Zip Tap does the job of a water cooler and a kettle, which also frees up more space and creating a less cluttered office environment.

Zip Taps provide water that is filtered to give a pure odourless, sediment-free taste. They work by harnessing thermodynamic heat-exchange technology to recover waste heat energy ready to be reused to preheat the water entering the hot water tank. They come equipped with a Time Clock, Sleep Mode and Eco Mode so you can make huge savings on your energy bills! This technology allows for peak periods of high demand in the office environment.

      There are a number of important points to consider when specifying, but it’s worth starting with the following questions:

      1. What water dispense options do you require?

      Zip Taps have their very own Power Pulse technology and Direct Cold Core chilling technology features built-in, allowing for chilled, boiling and sparkling water from one tap. You can have a combination of these options or all three depending on the requirements of your workplace.

      2. How many people will be using the Zip Tap system in your office?

      Our range of Zip Taps are availabel in different capacities to cope with the demand of any office big or small. Our helpful icons on our website help identity each products capacities by the number of staff you have in your offices.

      3. How much space is there to install the Zip Tap system?

      One of the big perks of a Zip Tap system is their elegant space-saving design, creating a clean clutter free surface look and our engineers here at Wellbeing Group can integrate into most countertop surfaces. The biggest area to consider if you have space is the under-counter/cabinet space you have available. Zip Taps require a minimum of 500mm x 500mm of cabinet space to host the core unit which powers, filters, heats and chills the Zip Tap on the surface.

          What do the lights and icons mean on a Billi Tap?

          Orange Light – Flashes when a filter replacement is due. It will stay constant when overdue.

          Red Lock – Safety button activated. To use, press the indent on the back of the tap and lift or press the boiling lever.

          Red Light – Flashes when heating to temperature. On constant when the boiling water ready for dispense.

          Blue Light – Flashes when chilling to temperature. On constant when the chilled water ready for dispense.

          Green Leaf – Eco Intellegence – This means your Billi Tap is producing optimum energy efficiency.

          Green Bolt – Indicates Eco Intelligence self learning timer is enabled. The Billi Tap is using it’s technology to learn user habits to become more energy efficient.

          Green Moon – Indicates that the standby mode is currently enabled.

              How do I enable the safety mode on a Billi Tap?

              On the Billi unit under the worktop, press the ‘Select’ button, then arrow down to ‘Options’. Press the ‘Select’ button and set Safety Switch to ‘On’. Touch the indent on the black panel on the back of the Billi tap to allow for a short boiling water flow.

                      A flashing red light means boiling water hasn’t reached 99°C yet. A flashing blue light means water hasn’t chilled to set temperature. Both lights will glow solid when this happens.
